Town Hall Gallery

A4 catalogue, square invite, A2 poster, DL flyer, Art Almanac advert, tote bag, The Emporium

Located in the redeveloped Hawthorn Arts Centre, Town Hall Gallery is the peak public gallery space for the City of Boroondara. Spanning three gallery spaces, Town Hall Gallery features a diverse range of contemporary and innovative curated exhibitions, public programs and exhibits drawn from the Town Hall Gallery Collection. The collection celebrates the rich cultural heritage of the City of Boroondara and fosters a strong sense of community and shared history.
The Town Hall Gallery re-opened to the public after two years of renovations, celebrating ten years of operation. With new gallery spaces, offices and art shop, The Emporium, they sought to showcase the impressive venue to the public. A set of collateral was required to entice the audience and set the precedent for the new look.
All collateral was emblazoned with the brand fluoro green for impact. Large areas of clean space and neat text set to embody the gallery itself, allowing the artworks to shine. The A2 poster displayed the coming year’s exhibitions on one side and a selected artwork on the other, creating a keepsake. Catalogues and invites matched, folding out to display artwork and information. A tote bag was designed covered in the green lines of the logo which corresponded with the interior of The Emporium. Following the green collateral for the first set of exhibitions, a new colour was rolled out for each exhibition giving them their own identity.
